Each year Turn2 Lapping focuses on a charitable cause.  For the 2012 season, our drivers group was hit very hard with cancer.  We lost Chris Mathers, Emmett Koontz, Kathryn Bradley, (Scott Bradley's Daughter), Paul Brown and my own father.  All to this terrible disease.  Cancer is non discriminitory.  It attacks young, old, wealthy, poor, and every race and religion.  I personally don't know anyone that has not been directly affected in one way or other when it comes to this terrible diesease.  On our last track day of the season which was held at Pacific Raceways, Turn2 hooked up with Fred Hutchinson/Seattle Cancer Care Alliance.  The intent was to raise money strictly for research as there is a direct link between Fred Hutch, Seattle Childrens Hospital, and the University of Washington Cancer Research Departments.  We raised over $10,000.00 with the help of many.  We will be doing this again for the 2013 season.  We haven't set a date or a place yet, but once it is determined, we will publicize it here and with a direct email and other sources.

In the mean time, you can contact us directly or Seattle Cancer Care Alliance and donate there and say it is through Turn2.  They'll know what to do with it.  If you want to go for a ride at one of our events or have friends or family that want rides, we'll hook them up with a certified instructor for a small donation to this great cause.
